371 Diner

On the 371 highway is the 371 diner, a retro, 50's, aluminium clad eating house serving all day breakfasts and milk shakes.
We decided on brunch there.
Breakfasts in America are not small and however hard you try, they are still large and good! The usual breakfast consists of 2 eggs, either over easy or sunny side up; bacon skinny rashers done to a crisp (delicious)and alongside this pancakes, usually 2 or 3, the size of a dinner plate and at least a centimetre thick with a pot full of whipped butter and a jug of maple syrup. This is the least you have, added to this can be a variety of things such as sausage or hash browns. Another unusual thing for us, but regular for the Americans is biscuits and gravy. The bisuits are actually scone type cakes and the gravy is more like a white mushroom sauce. Everything is topped off by unlimited coffee and cream.

A few photos to look at.
