It was fortunate that Emily had been given the day off by her boss to enable us to all spend the day together. So it was breakfast in the diner with a happy birthday played on the old juke box which runs with 7inch records. Breakfast was the usual pancakes, maple syrup, eggs over easy and bacon - great!! No wonder we are putting on weight and the Americans are big people!
