Motorbike Shop

Guess where we went today?!!

There are 3 motorbike shops in Brainerd /Baxter region. These cities are close together with little between them. Baxter is the bigger city and this is where Pat (Zac's Dad) lives, Brainerd is where Emily and Zac live. It takes 10 minutes to drive from one house to the other and the shopping areas are in between. There is a Harley Davidson shop which is on the 371 highway close to the diner and then two more conventional bike shops on the 210 which joins the 371. The two conventional shops not only have ordinary types of bikes but also sell skidoos and 4 wheelers (quad bikes). These are recreational vehicles used in the many forests to aid hunting. They also sell trail bikes for going along the many forest trails in this state of trees and lakes. The main bikes in USA are the shiny Harley type bike, the sort that Stan has in UK and tourers which are the large Honda Gold Wing type for travelling across USA along famous roads such as route 66.
Bikers do not have to wear helmets and usually wear bandanas unless they are riding a racing type bike such as a Yamaha R6 which Richard has. It appears that the whole family will be riding bikes soon (except me, of course)!
